CORNFLOUR SOURDOUGH

Cornflour sourdough is my first gluten-free sourdough and it went well the first time. The recipe is very simple and doesn't require a lot of energy or time. It's really worth spending a while every day to make your own sourdough and to bake your own bread.

ingredients

    about 150 kcal in 100 g sourdough
      • about 170 g cornflour
      • 300 ml warm water

      recipe

      Place 50 g cornflour in a medium-sized jar (1 l). Pour 100 ml warm water and stir thoroughly with a wooden spoon or a silicone spatula. Set the jar aside. Every day, at about the same hour, add 2 heaped tablespoons cornflour and 50 ml warm water to the jar, then mix thoroughly. Repeat this activity for the four consecutive days. On the fifth day the sourdough is ready and you can bake a bread. The recipe for a gluten-free bread you'll find here.
