GREEN SMOOTHIE BOWL WITH BLUEBERRIES

I promised that there will be more smoothie bowls for kids on the blog, so I keep my word and have prepared today the second smoothie bowl. I wanted a nice green smoothie in the company of blueberries and hope your children will share my enthusiasm for such colours and flavours :)

ingredients

    for 2-3 servings
      • a good handful of fresh kale
      • 3 kiwis
      • 3 small bananas
      • 3-4 apples
      • 2 handfuls of blueberries
      • juice of half a lemon
      • sunflower seeds and expanded amaranth seeds for sprinkling
      • mint leaves for garnish
      • some mineral water (for easier blending)

      recipe

      Rinse the kale in a sieve and place in a glass blender. Add a little water and lemon juice. Wash all fruits and mint leaves thoroughly. Put two sliced bananas into the blender, one kiwi cut in half and apples cut into large cubes (peeled or not, I've peeled them this time, but didn't hollow out the core), and then blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into bowls and garnish with banana slices, kiwi slices and blueberries. Sprinkle with sunflower seeds roasted in a dry frying pan, and amaranth seeds. Decorate also with mint leaves. Enjoy!
